It foregrounds a hard, modern protagonist (Kartika "Vic" Sutera) who navigates urban grime, corrupt institutions (local law, international task forces, a Vatican-adjacent order), and ancestral supernatural forces (Hantu Raya/Grigori/Witches). The story merges visceral action (chases, jailbreaks, raids) with uncanny, slow-burn mythic horror — heavy on mood, haunting set-pieces, and an identity-driven emotional core.
